If you think that Quebec student protest is just about tuition you're sadly mistaken it about everything! In the past two decades the Quebec Government has squeezed citizens for all they are worth and more.
The Federal cut the GST by 2 points to 5% Charest snatch it and raise the TVQ to 9.5% (it actually 9,975 since we pay tax on the tax. Welcome to Quebec!)
Gas Tax are the highest in Canada, also highest driver license cost and license plate in the country (Not to mention that the SAAQ surplus get raided every decade or so.)
The same booze can cost three times as much in a state owned SAQ than at the LCBO...
Do I need to go on or do you all get the picture like we say in French. "Tu m'étouffe crisse!" You're fucking choking me!
In the meantime the Quebec Government and the debt is growing to staggering level and suspicion of corruption at every level are at a all time high. So students and for that matter any ordinary citizen are asking or should ask a simple question. If everybody is in on the gravy train why the hell should I make sacrifice so you and your "Friends" Mister Charest can get fat off me?
Shit you had money to bribe Bernie Ecclestone, to build a fucking opera house and the PKP Colisé. You gave away the Oil off the Anticosti island as if Hydro Quebec could not dig it themselves. Cross that out you gave nothing away some "friends" likely got greased in that deal. You dare ask the peoples to support you're incompetent bungling if not outright corruption! Consider yourself lucky that Quebecers only make some noise in the street 224 years ago French peoples build Guillotines for a lot less arrogance and corruption!

Crazy election night in Canada!
Wow! That was a crazy election night in Canada with at least three major story line.
First. The great Quebec political enema of 2011. The Bloc got wiped off the face of the earth and after 20 years of political rot Quebec change the map of politic in Canada again. Fucking up Canadian federal Politic is pretty much Quebec second national sports. In Quebec we don't fuck around when it time to take out the trash. The Bloc and Duceppe while useful two decades ago were starting to stink up the joint.
Second. The Liberal brand is dead nobody want to vote for these guys and for a good reason it a party about power for the sake of power and they should never be trusted with power again!
Third. The Orange wave stopped in Ontario, you got to love Ontarian they shit their pants in Toronto that those dangerous "socialist" of the NDP would take over and voted Tories!
Fourth. In case everybody was too busy to tell you Stephen Harper did get a majority Government. What will he do with it is anybody guess but it likely will not be the end of the earth that some idiots have predicted. And at least we get a four years break from the threats of election every six months cycle Canada was stuck in for the last decade.
Unanswered questions.
Is the Bloq decimation the last nail for the Quebec Sovereignty movement or just the first step toward another referendum? Even after a crushing defeat a political machine never really disappear it just find somebody else to work for and in this case that somebody else will be the PQ. If sovereignist get focused on one political arena instead of two they might just do some damage to Charest liberal. And you know that Harper cannot fail but fuck something up that gonna piss off Quebec, think lake Meech 3.0!
Will Harper go mad with power or will he turn out to be a centrist right leader!
And how fast will Iggy go back to the US? lolll My money is before the end of May.
