How media destroy peoples with 30 seconds clip

The Wright "controversy" show a very disturbing aspect of our digital age. If you find the right 30 seconds audio or even better video clip you can hang anybody. It does not matter what was said before or after the cut so long has you run the damn thing over and over again 24/7 you can destroy anybody. You can even hurt peoples by proxy now you no longer need to have the target say something bad for the hanging party to get the rope and the pitchfork. All you need is somebody loosely associated with the intended target to say something even vaguely derogatory for the lynching to start.

The other disturbing fact is how fast peoples jumped on this story for political reason while other religious leader have said very derogatory thing in the past and are very cozy with political leaders of both party and nobody ever called these peoples out. What was behind this lynching mob? Was it just politically motivated or was it tainted by something else after all. Pat Robertson and most of is cronies have said some crazy thing in the past so why did they never really catches the same kind of heat? Why did they go after Wright while the Republican have been in bed with the religious far right for the last thirty years and where was the lynching mob when McCain got John Hagee endorsement and that went almost unnoticed. And while Clinton get a pass on her own religious dirty little secret The Fellowship, Obama has to pay a nasty price for choice of church. I know where this is going and it not good am starting to see a pattern and I hate to say it but Wright is black and that why so many white peoples pushed the panic button. It racism but it not about Wright so call racist remark it about whites peoples freaking out at any controversial comment made by a black religious leader when the same peoples turned a blind eyes and a complicit deaf ear on a plethora of religious white hate mongers.

We don't say it we don't want to admit it but we are still no far removed from Obama Grandmother in our hypocrisy we even pretended for a few month that it was not case. But it did not take much for all our fear to be throw right back at us.
