The more I think about it the more am suspicious about the story so far. A door peephole is usually pretty much one way unless it been modified. Unless the perpetrator got somebody of the hotel staff on the payroll how the hell did he or she manage to keep a camera even a very small one running unnoticed for days on that door? That how long it must have taken until they got anything interesting the maid or room service should have noticed something was amiss. Seriously think about it what are the odd that the minute you install the camera you get lucky and somebody walking naked in front of that door.
Something do not smell good with what we know of this story either somebody on the staff is in on this or she is but somebody is definitively lying.
