Hell when it come down to it with all the shared database the IRS already know exactly how much 95% of the population will pay or receive before everybody even file. They could send everybody a statement and if you don't approve you can file like you use to. That solution would not only put the whole private tax filling industry out of work but also gut the IRS in half. So it ain't happening anytime soon.
