Madhi19 Reddit new post madhi19 on Why didn't Voyager go through the Gamma Quadrant?

Understanding distance on a SciFi universe that was build over 50 years from 6 TV shows and 12 movies will give you headache. One ship travel to the centre of the Galaxy. Another ship travel to the edge of the Galaxy and a third ship will take more than 70 years to come back from one of the corner of the same Galaxy. Either the universe expanded a lot between Kirk and Janeway or Warp speed got seriously nerfed.
