Carlin is barely reaching the end of 1916 with part 4 he probably be done by 2015 at that rate. The Guns of August is all about the first month of the war and Now It Can Be Told is about personal stories from the war. If you want most of the story A World Undone by G.J. Meyer is what you're looking for.
