If that not a red herring that Capaldi was going to be a lot more darker Doctor what I seen so far of this season was most revealing. The ending of Deep Breath when the Doctor said he was afraid he had to kill cyborg was chilling. When did any of the new who doctor talked this way. Maybe Smith at the end of the space whale episode but aside from that I can't remember any other instance.
