Weird that they picked 70s songs. When you look at the story timeline it should have been 80s music. Maybe his mother was older than I thought. Easier explanation James Gunn is just a bigger 70s music fans. I got to admit it one hell of a soundtrack. Figure Gunn had a blank cheque for licensing and went to town.
