It the same problem that HNIC had before doing when more than one game at once. Because they are doing one intermission show to fit all the games, the show never really fit the one game you're actually watching. One size fit all mean nothing really fit anyway. So they end up talking about anything but the actual hockey getting played that night. Then they roll out the dinosaur, for five minutes of bitching and moaning, sometime interrupted by military pandering. I already heard all of Don Cherry crap stories at least a decade ago. Frankly it time to move on. The only cool thing Sporstnet's did with HNIC so far was getting Dick Irvin Jr to narrate the intro of game one. And the only thing it did was reminding us how much class that show use to have.
