That revisionist history. The truth is the British, and the French had nothing to contain Hitler with early on. That why the leadership tried really hard to delay the war. The British did not have the army, or the resource to wage that war on their own. Churchill is a shit historian, and a lot of it come from the fact that he was at the centre some of these events.
