You could already get a pretty cheap 4K TV this holiday. And nobody has any 4k content to sell you. Hell you be hard pressed to find many TV channel doing 1080p native. Aside from some On Demand movie channel everybody that claim to be HD on cable is in 720p. The good news is that the 3d gimmick is pretty much dead in the living room.
